The MIC Schools Programme was created to support students by exposing them to a wide scope of vocational opportunities, thus helping them to move from school to tertiary learning environments or even entrepreneurship. There are numerous challenges facing the schools, many of which they have no control over. However, changing mindsets, attitudes and consequently behaviours of educators and learners provides an opportunity for transformation. By changing the mindsets and approach to teaching and learning, schools can reengage and prosper despite their circumstances.
These opportunities come in the form of career days, a performing arts festival, public speaking competitions, motivational talks, take-a-child-to-work days, greening projects, and various workshops, as well as selective academic and infrastructure support to our schools.
