Koketso has been working in investment banking and asset management for 21 years in various capacities. His last position was as the Executive Head of Private Equity and Structured Investment Products at the Public Investment Corporation, the largest asset manager in Africa with R2.0 trillion or US$160 billion under management. Koketso oversaw a portfolio of approximately 12.5% of PIC’s assets under management i.e. R250bn in Alternative Asset in Sub-Saharan Africa. He formed part of PIC’s top management serving as a member of EXCO, Portfolio Management Committees and Valuations Committee. Koketso has strong board experience where he drives value creation for investors, he is currently a board member of the following companies: Afgri Group & Rand Mutual Assurance. He was previously a board member of the following: Bayport Management Ltd, Ethos Fund VI, Medu Fund II & III, Menlyn Maine Investment Holdings.
